NDRF recovers body of youth washed away in Indrayani river
Pune -A small team of NDRF consisting of boats and deep divers was conducting search operation since yesterday for Mr. Atul Patil, Age 24 yrs, R/O Akurdi, Pune who had fallen in Indrayani river near Indori Kundamala, Tehsil Maval, Pune on 29/07/17. Due to flooding of the river and strong current it was extremely difficult to conduct the operation. Low visibility due to muddy waters made things very difficult for deep divers. But with sheer grit and determination NDRF relentlessly braved strong current and heavy rains and was successful in extricating the dead body of the youth from the water.
It was found 5 kms downstream from the location where he had fallen and it was the teams tireless and extensive search that led to the recovery of the body.
