NVIDIA today announced its Developer Connect Six-City Program, an educational tour that will offer attendees workshops and demonstrations of AI and deep learning tools designed to meet the challenges big data presents.

The two-day event in each city will bring together the local ecosystem of AI developers, data scientists, researchers and academia to look at AI trends, technology, use cases and India’s role and opportunities in what many are calling the fourth Industrial Revolution.

Starting November 14 in Hyderabad, the event series will showcase the most vital work in the computing industry today, including deep learning and AI, big data analytics, virtual reality, and more. The program is part of the developer engagement program of NVIDIA, which has already trained thousands of programmers in AI.

NVIDIA is also conducting its Deep Learning Institute workshops in the six cities, providing training on the latest techniques for designing, training and deploying neural networks across a variety of application domains through self-paced online labs and instructor-led workshops.

Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director, NVIDIA – South Asia, said,“NVIDIA’s DGX portfolio and its software are the essential instruments for advancing the work of world-class AI research and realizing the promise of this new era of computing. Through the Developer Connect Program, we are empowering developers with skills needed to solve some of the most challenging deep learning problems in the areas of image recognition, text classification and speech modeling.

The NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute is an instructor-led training for developers, data scientists and researchers. Participants will explore widely used open-source frameworks as well as NVIDIA’s latest GPU-accelerated deep learning platforms. NVIDIA has trained thousands of people worldwide through the institute in over 20 countries.

The Developer Connect Program is a free, two-day event that will cover talks and sessions with topics of interest for developers, architects, data scientists and technical managers. It will cover speaker sessions, training labs and demonstrations focusing on a range of technology topics including artificial intelligence, super-computing and deep learning with speakers from NVIDIA, Google Research, Microsoft and IBM, among other companies.
