OhLook’ shortlisted from India at Consumer Tech Awards 2017

Hyderabad, October 22, 2017: Hyderabad-based start-up, OhLook gets selected for the prestigious global Consumer Tech Awards 2017, organised by Accenture, which recognizes and rewards innovators that are pushing the boundaries to better engage with the millennial consumer in the Automotive, Consumer Goods & Services, Retail and Travel industries.

The start-up is among the top 3 from the world, and the only one from India, representingMillennial Shoppers Category– a category that identifies top start-ups, which promise to change the way the future generations will shop. The start-up will present their case to industry leaders at the grand Millennial 2020 event in Singapore later this month.

OhLook is a first of its kind service that aims to completely replace wardrobes at homes and put anend to shopping forever. With their synchronised sharing economy model, they ensure each user gets to wear 365 different clothes each year, i.e. different clothes every single day, from top brands and latest trends, at a price lesser than what they spend on clothing so far. For a mere2000 a month, users get 28 shirts/tees a month, hand-picked by fashion stylists exclusively for each user. Users get to add other garments like trousers, blazers, suits, sherwanis and accessories on need basis, thereby bringing the need for fashion shopping down to 0%.

OhLook’s vision spans beyond bringing user’s dream of wearing the top brands and new stuff every day. Their most prominent core value is Environmental Stewardship and their vision for sustainable fashion, ensures they march in the direction of their core value. Ohlook aims to significantly reduce landfill created by clothing products with their near-perfected circular economy concepts.

This Telangana based start-up has received multiple accolades in the past as well, for introducing a never-before-heard concept of Everyday Fashion Outsourcing, to the world. They also received the Business Excellence Award from Hon. Vice-President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu, earlier this year. OhLook was also a finalist on 2 of the top startup reality shows in the country. The start-up currently replaces $300,000 in sales as rentals, each month and aims to shoot that figure to $1,000,000 per month in the next 6 months.
