Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre celebrates its 42nd Raising Day
A special dinner was organised in honour of all the Jawans by Marriott Suites Pune and Courtyard by Marriott, Hinjewadi
Pune, October 12: The Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre of Kirkee, Pune celebrated its 42nd Raising Day recently at its premises. Marriott Suites Pune and Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi in association with Team Miracle were also a part of this year’s celebration and contributed in all the ways to make it memorable.
Various sports competitions like wheel chair race, throw ball and basketball were organised for Jawans on this day as a part of celebration.
All the Jawans participated in the activities with full fervour and enthusiasm; it was a real glee for both the hotel teams to see the passion and spirit of the soldiers. As a token of gratitude, all the winners were honoured with prizes by Mr. Subhash Sinha, General Manager, Marriott Suites Pune and Mr. Abhijit Chitnis, Director of Operations, Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi. A special dinner was also organised by both the hotels on this day in honour of all the Jawanas.
PRC, Kirkee works towards the after care and rehabilitation of Defence personnel forces of India who are medically boarded out i.e. retired form service due to Spinal Cord Injury while serving the Nation.
