PMPML Director Sidhharth Shirole to participate in conference on Clean Buses to be held in Singapore
Pune, October 18, 2018 : The director of PMPML Sidhharth Shirole is invited to present his views in a conference on ‘Clean Buses in Cities in Asia-Pacific’, that to be held in Singapore. The conference is hosted by Global Mass Transit Report and will be conducted on October 22 and 23.
The issues like traffic jam, accidents, pollution are widely faced in Asia-Pacific region. The region also faces the uniform need for clean public transport. Many countries are trying to increase the number of CNG, electric, hydrogen and hybrid buses. Also, many public and private organizations are working on the issue of clean vehicles. This conference aims to discuss this topic in depth.
In the conference, Siddharth Shirole will talk about the initiatives launched under Pune Municipal Corporation, like use of electric buses, wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project launched at Swargate Depot etc.
