President of ‘Rashtriya Kamdhenu Ayog’ Appeales to go beyond religious beliefs about ‘Cow protection’

Dr Vallabh Kathiria ,President of ‘Rashtriya Kamdhenu Ayog’ (National Commission for Cows) was felicitated in Pune on Sunday.
 
Meeting of representatives of NGO’s working in conservation, protection and development of cows and their progeny,held at ‘Kaushikashram'(Parwati,Pune),Where Dr.Kathiria felicitated in Presence of Ravindra Vanjarwadkar(Mahanagar Sangh Chalak i.e.Chief,Pune RSS ) ,Dr Sharad Khare, Rajendra J. Lunkad(Paschim Maharashtra Prant Gauseva Samiti),Pradeep Phase(Secretory,Paschim Maharashtra Prant Gauseva Samiti)
 
Dr.Kathiria first time visited Pune,after becoming Chairman of National Commission for Cows.
 
The Centre has constituted this apex body in February 2019, for conservation, protection and development of cows and their progeny ,under chairmanship of Dr,Kathiria.It is his first informal visit to Pune,where RSS swayamsevaks.swayamsevak karykartas of Gau-Seva Samiti and Arogya Bharti   were also present .Informal Dicussion on  gau-seva agroeconomy held.
 
Kathiria, who was minister of state in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government between 1999 and 2004, emphasized that he would replicate  ‘Gau Sewa’ or cow protection model at the national level, where research on panchgavya (cow milk ghee, urine, dung and curd) will be conducted .
 
He appealed  to go beyond religious beliefs about ‘Cow protection and conservation,and convey the message of Agro-economy’. ‘There can be reserved plots in Cities for cows,and shelter can be provided to abandoned cows. ‘,He said.
