Private bus operator launches ‘Meals on the bus’ service for Pune-Mumbai passengers
Pune, April 25, 2019 : A large number of people travel daily by private buses running on the Pune-Mumbai rout for business purposes andmany of them prefer travelling without a single stop to save time.Considering the needs of the passengers, a luxury bus operator from Pune, Prasanna Purple has come up with a unique idea to provide freshly prepared meals on their bus just like it is provided during the air travel.
Such a service to provide fresh and healthy mealson the bus is launched in the entire country for the first time,informed Prasanna Patwardhan, CEO, Prasanna Purple Mobility Solutions Pri. Ltd.
The company has started this service as a pilot project on Pune-Mumbai rout from today (April 24). The initiative is being promoted by the slogan ‘Travel Safe-Eat Safe’.
Patwardhan said that this will not only help cutting down the travel time, but the passengers will get hot and good quality food on the go. ‘‘We are launching this service in association with ‘OntheGo’. The food menu is vegetarian and crafted by experienced chefs.Also, the health quotient of the food is considered along with the taste. Like, we use the brown rice and brown bread only, and so. The food is prepared at the kitchen situated at Wakad and packed in environment friendly, reusable and microwavable containers. With all these plus points, this food service is available at very affordable prices.’’, Said Patwardhan.
