Pune BJP sets up War Room for the upcoming state elections
-Plans to create strong presence on social media
Pune, September 8, 2019 : Eyeing the upcoming state elections, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has set up a War Room in the main office of the party in Pune. The party plans to reach to the potential voters from all the 8 constituencies with a strong social media presence, informed Madhuri Misal, City President, BJP.
Misal said that the Pune War Room of the party will be working in line with the war rooms set up at the state and central level. ‘‘We have prepared teams for all the constituencies and appointed the persons heading these teams. In all over 100 youths will be working for handling social media for BJP in Pune. We will focus on the important decisions that the party has taken in past 5 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Phadanvis. We will also spread the word about citizen friendly works by BJP MLAs in all the constituencies. The accomplishments like PMRDA Development Plan, Ring Road, developmental works at Pune Airport, new E-bus, improvements in the Slum Redevelopment Scheme Guidelines will be talked about along with the other decisions of state and national importance.’’
BJP has also activated WhatsApp groups for each constituency and plans to use WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in larger sense for the party. ‘‘This will help us knowing the voter’s sentiments and their demands for the city of Pune.’’, said Misal.
