Rs 100 crores for Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation – Chief Minister
Sangli: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced a special grant of Rs 100 crores for Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad City Municipal Corporation. Fadnavis communicated this to the corporators over phone during meeting at Amrai Club here.
On the occasion of Independence Day, district guardian minister held a meeting of the newly elected corporators. Also present on the occasion were MLAs Sudhir Gadgil, Suresh Khade, MP Sanjay Patil, and former MLA Dinkar Patil, Prithviraj Deshmukh, Makrand Deshpande, Shekhar Sachdeetkar and other BJP leaders.
Deshmukh contacted the Chief Minister via mobile phone and speaker was on. The Chief Minister assured that he will soon make a tour of Sangli and announced special fund of Rs 100 crores.
