Sancheti Hospital, the first orthopaedic dedicated specialty centre in Pune to receive NABH Accreditation
Pune, July 22: Sancheti Hospital has received the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare) accreditation on 16th April, 2016. Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is a stand-alone orthopaedic hospital to receive the accreditation in Pune.
Speaking of this milestone reached, Ms. Manisha Sanghvi, Executive Director of the Sancheti Group said, “We have grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years and are now being recognised for our quality of patient care.” She continues further, “We are committed to creating a culture of patient safety, efficiency and accountability towards patient care and will continue to live up to the standards set by NABH.”
The NABH accreditation process covers all aspects of hospital management; including fire safety, disaster handling, infection control practices, equipment maintenance, customer feedback, credential checking of the staff and doctors, employee satisfaction which ensures that the hospital quality is achieved and maintained.
The accreditation is valid from April 16, 2016, to April 15, 2019. The NABH certificate has bolstered the hospital’s continuing efforts to implement exacting patient safety standards. Sancheti Hosptial has been enriching lives, not only through their quality treatment, but also through their various social welfare initiatives as well.
