Seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights

The Library of M. C. E. Society’s M. A. Rangoonwala Institute of Hotel Management &
Research organized a seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights” on 18 th February 2019.
Mr. Kishore Ingale,(Head-Pune Information Resource Centre, Tata Consultancy Services)
discussed about IPR, how the Intellectual Property Law works, also given the minute details
of Patents, Copyright, Trade Marks, Industrial Design, Geographical Indication, Trade Secret,
Process of filing IP and also discussed the important cases & made the session interactive.
The activity was conducted by Mrs Chanda Supekar, Librarian of M. A. Rangoonwala
Institute of Hotel Management & Research under the guidance of Principal Prof. Anita
Frantz.
