Special PMPML bus for Bopkhel residents
Pune, June 14 – On the request of former chairman of PCMC’s school board Chetan Ghule, Pune Mahanagar Parivan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) will run buses on two routes – Bopkhel to Dapodi and Bopkhel to PMC main building- from Wednesday.
After the removal bridge over Mula River by the Army, people now have to take a detour of 15 km to reach Dapodi.
The buses will run at 7 am, 11.30 am and 5.30 pm on these routes. The bus service will be a major boost especially for about 2,000 school and college students from Bopkhel, Ramnagar and Ganeshnagar.
Ghule inaugurated the two routes on Tuesday in the presence of PMPML bus conductor and driver and local residents.
