Special train will leave from Kalyan to Kolhapur with passengers of #MahalaxmiExpress

Kalyan (Mumbai), July 27, 2019 : After the evacuation of all passengers of Mahalaxmi Express, which got stranded in flood water near Vangani, a special train will leave from Kalyan to Kolhapur with passengers of Mahalaxmi Express. There will be 19 coaches in the special train.

The rescued passengers of Mahalaxmi Express have been provided with food at Sahyadri Mangal Karyalaya, Badlapur.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted, “Happy to inform that all the passengers stranded in #MahalaxmiExpress have been evacuated safely. Congratulations & Thank you to  @NDRFHQ , Army, @indiannavy , Airforce, Police, Indian Railways, Local administration and entire team for this coordinated & great efforts!”
