State-wide Gunotsav Programme to be organized during 7-9 January: Gujarat CM

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel has directed the Office bearers, Officers, and Government employees in a meeting held today here in Gandhinagar for the state-wide Gunotsav evaluation campaign which will be held during forthcoming January 7-9, 2016.

Under the campaign to improve the education quality, the education department has undertaken a multi-dimension programme for reformation in education, along with Mrs. Patel, State Ministers, Senior Secretaries, Office Bearers, retired teachers, principals, college professors and Government employees; more than 3000 persons will take part.

During the meeting, Mrs. Patel said that not only the evaluation of education but the brief evaluation and grade of school campus, family and the center of the education – the child/student will be held during the sixth edition of Gunotsav. On the occasion she also gave some effective examples through it the progressive results have been received such as the success of Student Police Cadet in rural schools situated in frontier areas, success received through the children’s active contribution in social awareness such as de-addiction, prevention of odd-customs and contribution of children in various activities.

In this regard Mrs. Patel clearly said that the education department should reach such feedbacks to the concerned department as quick as possible and it is needful to review-monitor to resolve such feedbacks at Chief Secretary Level within its desired time-limit.

Cabinet Ministers, Minister of State for Higher Education Mrs. Vasuben Trivedi, Mr. Nanubhai Vanani, Chief Secretary Mr. G. R. Aloriya, Senior Secretaries, I.P.S., I.F.S. officials and Higher Authorities were present in the meeting.
