State-wide tour to review PMAY & Affordable Housing projects by Kataria
PUNE– In order to review the progress & make awareness of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) projects, CREDAI Maharashtra President Shantilal Kataria will undertake a Maharashtra tour starting from 12th January 2019. He will tour more than 25 cities across the state to spearhead the construction works under PMAY scheme/ affordable housing . Last year CREDAI Maharashtra had signed a MoU with state government to construct 5lakh units of affordable houses to promote the ‘Housing for All’ in 50 cities throughout Maharashtra.
The tour aims to see the progress of PMAY work and find out solutions on difficulties faced by realtors. The tour will be as follows-Indapur, Barsi, Osmanabad, Latur (12thJan), Beed, Ahmednagar (13th Jan), Satara, Karad, Kolhapur, Kagal (17th Jan), Sawanwadi, Ratnagiri, Chiplun (18th Jan) and Vidarbha North Maharashtra in February.
CREDAI aims to complete this ambitious project as per scheduled time frame of 2022 frame. Also, he will review the progress of registration of projects under RERA act.
After the tour concludes, the CREDAI shall give a memorandum to state govt. asking for concession to be offered on PMAY projects & need of speedy approvals.
