Students display their creativity and talent at KTI Fashionista 2018-19 in Pune

Pune 7 January, 2019: More than 35 students displayed their talent at KTI Fashionista organized by Kohinoor Technical Institute (KTI) at Tilak Smarak Mandir recently . The event is a platform for the Fashion Designing students, to showcase their creativity. Umakant Shete Regional Head KTI, Prajakta Shah Regional Head KTI were present.

Nitin Ramesh Udas Upayukt Social Welfare & Local Taxes Pune Mahanagar Palika was the Special Guest of Honour. Mrs Priyadarshini Nikalje Republican Party of India’s women Wing leader was the Chief Guest.

Kamlesh Bafna, Founder Gallus Events and Entertainment, Nilambari Thorat Director Rupita Institute, Priya Kothari Owner PRSK, Co-founder Gallus events and Entertainment were judges for the competition. Total 35 students from various branches of KTI participated in the competition.

Theme for the competition was Bridal and Close to Nature. Participants had designed and stitched their costumes based on the above themes. Prajkta Vaghole and Anju Yadav(Chinchwad Branch) bagged the first prize, Minaz Shiekh (Deccan Branch) stood second while Manasi Harpale(Hadpasar Branch) got the 3rd prize. The other awards included Best Costume (Sayali Jagtap- Hadapsar Branch) and Best Walk (Priti Wagh- Narayangaon Branch). Among all the designs 10 best costumes were selected for the Grand Finale which will take place in Mumbai.
