This story of medical abuse by two private hospitals will shake you to the core!

Recently, a Facebook user, Parul Bhasin Verma shared a story of how her mother and her family was financially and medically abused by the two of the most prominent private hospitals from Delhi and Hyderabad.

Her mother was in the hospital ICU for more than 100 days during which the two private hospitals namely Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad, Telangana (Hyderabad) and BL Kapoor, New Delhi. Both the hospitals demanded them to pay nearly one lakh every day. The even worst news is spending some much time, money and energy her mother still gave up.

Jyotsna Verma, her mother was first admitted at the BL Kapoor hospital, New Delhi after an ammonia attack and diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis. She underwent a liver transplant and was safely discharged. After a couple of days, a lady approached them calming about the availability of liver. So, they immediately flew to Hyderabad in the Yashoda Hospital. But their worries don’t end here, after the transplant Mrs. Verma was put on a ventilator because of a lung infection. At this point the hospital of charging them an average of 1 lakh every day.

With all the finances drained out the doctors kept Mrs. Verma dogging from Hyderabad’s hospital to New Delhi’s hospital. They also threatened the Verma family to stop the treatment if the bills are not paid. Finally, after the four months of stay in the ICU Mrs. Verma died of multiple organ failures.
