Times and Trends Academy (TTA) Announces its Affiliation with Pune University for Fashion Degree

September 2019, Pune: As one of the leading professional courses academies in India, the announcement of TTA’s affiliation with Pune University for the Bachelors of Science in Fashion Degree course on September 05, 2019, marked the beginning of a new chapter in the journey of the academy. The event, attended by several industry experts, was a proud moment for the Amit Agrawal, Founder and Director of TTA, who envisions a technically, professionally, and a strategically brighter future for both, the students as well as the fashion industry. Affiliating with Savitribai Phule Pune University (better known as Pune University) is a proud moment for every academy, on account of the reputation and credibility points out that the affiliation adds to the academy.

The event was attended by hundreds of TTA’s students, along with some of the dignitaries, including Mr Ulhas Balkrishna Dhole Patil, Mrs Kamal Ulhasrao Dhole Patil, Mr Vinod Satav, Mr Arunrao Lakshman Kundale, Mrs Shaila Mohan Dugade, Mrs Sunandatai Sharadrao Vorate. Chandrakant Sonawane, TTA’s chief fashion designing mentor, and now a renowned and established costume designer in Bollywood attended the event as its chief guest. Besides, TTA’s chief mentors Amit Danait (Interior Designing), Pravin Jadhav (Event Management), and Hemant Shinde (Animation) too attended the event and felicitated the students.

TTA’s affiliation with Pune University is deemed to be a revolutionary step in fashion designing academics, as it is projected to open a lot of new career avenues, including employment as well as entrepreneurship, for TTA’s students.  Therefore, the Pune-based academy that operates 8 centres put together in Pune, Aurangabad, and Guwahati, looks at this association as an extremely promising, and ambitious move, providing an impetus to conceptual as well as practical learning. It will also empower students with international recognition to be known as a global fashion designer.

Mr Amit Agrawal, the founder and director of TTA, expressed his feeling stating that associating with Pune University for BSc in Fashion Designing is one of the proudest moments for TTA. The academy has really worked hard up to this achievement and will continue to do so to keep up with the TTA’s and the university’s recognition in the years to come.
