Vidushi Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande enthrals Punekars with ‘Swaranubhuti’

Pune, February 23, 2020: Classical music lovers from Pune got an opportunity to attend a musical program called ‘Swaranubhuti’’, by renowned Indian classical vocalist, Vidushi Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande today. The program was organized by Rithwik Foundation and was held at Rithwik Foundation for Performing Arts, behind Ved Bhavan, Kothrud.

Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande performed Raag Maragi Bhairav, Raag Chhota Bhairav, Raag Gaud Sarang, Raag Lalit Pancham etc at the program and was accompanied by Bhart Kamat on Tabala, Suyog Kundalkar on Harmonium, Swarangi Marathe and Shruti Abhyankar on Tanpura.

Considering that all artists and budding artists should get a platform to perform and also get guidance from the musical maestros, various musical programs are organized throughout the year by Rithwik Foundation for Performing Arts. As a part of such scheme, a legendary artists of the month from any musical gharana gets a chance to perform on the last Sunday of every month, in the ‘Swaranubhuti’’ program. The initiative, which started in the month of January, began with a musical program by Pt. Jayatirtha Mewundi. In the month of March on last Sunday that is march 29, their will be ‘Swaranubhuti’, by renowned Indian classical vocalist Pt. Rajan-Sajan Mishra. Pravin Kadle, founder of Rithwik Foundation said that the program was organized with the aim of listening to the Raagas of the classical music in the morning and also to acknowledge the changing moods of the concerts.
