Vikas Darshak  web-based dashboard launched to take stock of all government schemes

Mumbai, July 15,2019 : ‘Vikas Darshak’, the web-based dashboard which will be helping in taking stock of all the schemes of the government, simultaneously, was today inaugurated by the hands of Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis in Mantralaya.

The dashboard will help in effectively implementing the public oriented schemes in the state. Similarly, it will help bring transparency in the functioning of the Government and increase the credibility of the state government. Principal secretary of Information and Technology department SVR Srinivas presented the detailed information about the dashboard through his presentation. The ‘Vikas Darshak’ dashboard is hosted by Amazon Web Services cloud and it will be monitored by the Maha-IT institution information and technology department.

The Chief Minister can view the information of all the departments on the dashboard, simultaneously and in detail. The taluka wise review of the graph of any scheme can be seen on one click with the help of this dashboard. The problems that come to fore at the first side can also be possibly solved. The Pradhanmantri Aavas Yojna, Jalyukt Shivar scheme, Midday meal scheme, Chief Minister gram Sadak scheme, their progress and present situation can also be reviewed with the help of this dashboard.

The Vikas Darshak dashboard will be playing important role in giving a fillip to the e-governance in the state. This dashboard will provide the integrated information of various schemes run by different departments, their implementation and analysis. Presently, 37 schemes of 20 departments are included. The Vikas Darshak board had been prepared after taking information of more than 50 department and 250 information sources. About 840 information sources are also been connected. More than 300 meetings were conducted with all the related firms, institution and departments which were involved in giving a shape up to this dashboard.

Common people can also get access to important news of the chief minister’s Twitter and Facebook account through this dashboard. Similarly, people will be unable to register their feedback. The common people can even ask questions related to any scheme and other information by using chatBot application. Functioning of various departments and the utility of schemes will be getting ‘Star Ratings’.
