situated in remote area, 90 KMs from nearby city Beed and 334 Km from Pune city, which provides education, both residential and non residential to kids across 12 nearby villages.

Villagers from Moha and other nearby villages are either farmers or Sugarcane cutters. To support kids from such families Mr. Gangadhar Appa Burande (Freedom Fighter) had started “Maharashtra Shikshan Sanstha” in 1960. All three schools opened by them are situated in remote area with the sole aim of helping under privilege children to make their future better with education. Current strength at Maharashtra Vidyalaya Moha School is a total of 1850 students (900 Boys + 950 Girls).

Maharashtra Vidyalaya Moha not only provides education but also provides shelter and food to their 400 residential students who stay in School Hostel that is run & maintained by the school itself. For this they charge a meagre amount of 350/- per month from each student. To cope with all this extra expenditure of Hostel, grocery food and service, all school teachers willingly donate their 10 percent of salary to “Maharashtra Shikshan Sanstha”.

These villages in Beed district are known for it’s extreme drought situations, due to less water availability School has 3 borewell in their school premises but major problem for them was to water storage and distribution across School, Hostel, kitchen, Toilet and washrooms. This Major problem of water storage has been addressed by CSR team of Volkswagen IT Services India Private Limited and approved the budget to construct the water tank of 9M staging height and 50K liters water storage capacity. Volkswagen IT Services (VWITS) Pune, supported an amount of Rs 10.15 lakh to Maharastra Vidyalaya under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for the year 2018-19, to construct the overhead water tank.
