Haldwani, Uttarakand: Ex- serviceman Hari Singh Rawat ( name changed ) met with a fatal accident on 31st October. He was hit by an auto.

The auto driver dropped him to a nearby government hospital but robbed the victim of his belongings, wallet, watch and mobile phone. The government hospital not being well equipped referred the patient to Krishna hospital, Haldwani. There he lost his life due to the negligence of the doctors. Inspite of being taken to the hospital around 9pm and witnessing that it was an emergency case, the doctors arrived the next day at 11am. His hands and legs were tied to his bed to prevent him from jerking his body from the exorbitant pain. No attention was devoted to the clotting as well. Bleeding was ignored too.

Disappointment and deception further continued when papers showed the admission time ’01/10/2015′ and cunningly took his wife signatures. The staff extracted a lot of money in the name of CT Scan when the brain as already dead as stated by the neurosurgeon at RR hospital, Delhi.

The neurosurgeon at the RR hospital, Delhi demanded info on the treatment and the medicines doses but merely silence was the answer.

I am not writing this to seek vengeance of my father’s death but want to express my concern for the citizens who think ‘Doctor Bhagwaan or devta hota hai’ and who may suffer the same fate in the times to come.

My father served the nation selflessly for 26 years of life. Inspired and motivated by my father i joined the Indian Army and i have given it all it takes. I love and respect him beyond words. Is that how it all comes back to him?
