‘Woman boss wanted to sleep with me’

– A 35-year-old former employee of WIPRO/Credit Suisse, who has been booked by Pune city police for allegedly sending email threatening to shoot his woman boss after being sacked, has alleged that she wanted to sleep with him.

She has also accused him of defaming her through his posts on social media and emails to colleagues. His was removed from the company in November last year.

The Hinjewadi police station has booked the accused hailing from West Bengal for offences under sections 354 (stalking), 500 (punishment for defamation) and 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The 34-year-old woman filed the complaint against him on Sunday.

According to police, the incident took place between February 18 and July 19 this year. The woman told police that the accused held her responsible after he lost his job. He started sending emails and posting messages on social media.
