Woman doctor killed in accident in Hadapsar

Pune – A 25-year-old doctor died after being hit by a speeding tempo on the Magarpatta-Mundhwa road in Hadapsar on Wednesday morning.

Police have identified the deceased as Dr Anuradha Prakashappa Pantulwar, a resident of Bhekrainagar in Hadapsar. She was currently studying MD course from Sumatibhai Shah Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in Malwadi, Hadapsar.

Around 10 she was going to college on a two-wheeler which was hit by the tempo. Local residents alleged that the road has become narrow because of encroachment by illegal vendors but neither the municipal corporation nor the traffic police are taking any action against them.
