World acclaimed experts to participate in the 3rd International Conference on Herbal and Synthetic drug Studies- HSDS- 2016 at Azam Campus

The 3rd International Conference on “ Herbal and Synthetic Drug studies (HSDS-2016)” sponsored by the University Grants Commission ( UGC ) will be held from 7th – 9th Jan 2016 at Dr . A. R. Shaikh Assembly Hall at Azam Campus . The conferemace has been organised by Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Research Academy (ISTRA) Azam Campus, Pune in association with its member Institutes comprising Abeda Inamdar Senior College of Arts Science and Commerce, Pune, Allana College of Pharmacy along with The University of Kansas Cancer Centre, Kansas City, USA.
The inaugural programme will be held at 10:00 am on 7th Jan . Dr. Shekhar Mande, Director, National Centre for Cell Science, Pune will be the Chief Guest. Dr. Roy Jensen, Director, University of Kansas, USA, will be the Guest of Honour. The objectives of the conference are to bring the Scientific community together to discuss the advances in the preparation of herbal and synthetic drugs, finding new experimental methodologies for their characterisation using various analytical/biochemical techniques and the applications also to provide an opportunity to the researchers, scientists and academicians from all over India abroad. The conference will also lead to discussion and sharing their views on the development and future scope of the subject. Mrs. Abeda Inamdar (Chairperson, ISTRA and Vice president M.C.E Society), Prof S.B. Padhye (Director, ISTRA) and Dr. Khursheed Ahmed, (Convener-HSDS-2016) will welcome all the delegates to HSDS-2016.
