ARMY BAND AND EQUIPMENT DISPLAY AT HA GROUND PIMPRI
Pune – As a precursor to the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations the Station Headquarter’s Khadki on the request of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is organising a “ Army Band and Equipment Display” at the HA Ground Pimpri, Pune on 11 & 12 August 2017.
A variety of Weapons and Equipment used by the Army will be show cased as part of the event and patriotic tunes will be played by the Army Band.
The “Band and Equipment Display” will be open to the general public from 10 AM to 5 PM. The band display and martial art forms will be conducted in the evening hours from 7 PM to 8.30 PM on both these days.
The event is being conducted by the Army to familiarise the general public, specially the youth with various weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army. A large number of visitors are expected to witness the event.
Dhruv Defence Motivation center has arranged a bus for the same from Baner. Those willing to send kids or parents in bus will be charged.
