​Pune to host most unique conclave on Smart Food Industry

Pune 20 February 2018 :The Food Processing Committee, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries & Agriculture (MCCIA) Pune and National Agriculture and Food Analysis and Research Institute (NAFARI), Pune are jointly organizing a unique one day conclave Pune on 3rd March 2018 at the MCCIA Trade Towers, Senapati Bapat Road .The conclave will include deliberations on Ideas and Innovations that are shaping the Food Processing Industry.

Anand Chordia, Chairman MCCIA Food Committee said that the program will have inspiring insights and talks by Global Experts on the forefront of new Technologies, Scientific Knowledge, Manufacturing and Logistics. They will discuss topics including Digitalization, Green Buildings , Integrated Technology Approach to optimize India’s Agri- Food Potential, 3-D Printing Technology for Food Production. This conclave will definitely give direction to startups, food industries, for making futuristic smart factories and businesses.

Dr. Anant Sardeshmukh, Director General MCCIA said that we are already in the age where we use smart phones, live in smart cities and drive smart cars. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 with Smart Factories, where the Automation and Data Exchange in Manufacturing work together in an interconnected way is reshaping our thinking and the way we work. Food Industry and Food Production is also changing in radical ways, thanks to this Industrial Revolution 4.0.
