Unauthorized Constructions Demolished in Pune’s Ambegaon Budruk.; 47,664 Sq. Ft. Area Cleared
Pune, 2nd January 2024: In a decisive move against unauthorized constructions, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) took action in Ambegaon Budruk within Zone No.2 (Old Boundary). The areas under scrutiny were S. No. 43 and S. No. 25, as well as Ambegaon S. No. 10, resulting in the clearance of approximately 47,664 square feet.
The municipal authorities issued notices under various sections, including 478 (1), 260 (a) (a) (b), and section 53 (1) (a), to individuals associated with unauthorized constructions in Ambegaon Bu. (Old Limit) S.No. 43 and S.No. 25. This stern action was taken due to the construction activities carried out without proper permissions.
Notable among those served notices were Rohan Odel and others, SM Pawar and others, Udit Singh and others, Taru Rajendra Ganpat, Vilas Kokre and others, Vikas Chavanav and others, Atharva Dev of Ambegaon (Bu.) S.No.10, and various others.
The demolition operation was efficiently carried out with the collaboration of the anti-encroachment department staff, labourers, police personnel, and heavy machinery including JCBs, breakers, gas cutters, and jaw crushers. The properties owned by individuals like Smart Dave, Gawli and others, Maurya Dave, and Guru Dutt Dave were among those cleared in this significant initiative.
