‘Swaraparva’ to feature Pt. Yogesh Samshi and Devki Pandit
Pune, August 03: ‘Swaraparva’ a special musical program featuring Tabla Maestro Pt. Yogesh Samsi and acclaimed Vocalist Devki Pandit is being organized by Taalanubhuti Foundation and ONP Tulip on the occasion of death anniversary of Late Dr. H. N. Phadnis, a well-known gynaecologist and founder of Shree Clinic nursing home. The program will take place on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 5:30pm at MES Auditorium, Bal Shikshan School Campus, Mayur Colony, Kothrud. Entry to this program is free on first come first serve basis.
The program will have a solo performance by Tabla player Pandit Yogesh Samsi, disciple of renowned table player Padmashree Ustad Alla Rakha and will be accompanied by Milind Kulkarni on Harmonium. The audience will also witness performance of renowned vocalist Devki Pandit accompanied by Rohit Mujumdar on Tabla and Milind Kulkarni on Harmonium. Belongs to Jaipur-Atruali Gharana, Devki Pandit has received training under the guidance of Gaan Saraswati Kishori Amonkar and Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki.
