4 family members killed in accident near new Katraj tunnel on Pune-Bangalore highway
Pune – Four persons of a family were killed when their car met with an accident near Katraj tunnel in the wee hours of Monday. The car had collided with a truck, resulting in death on the spot.
The family hails from Mumbai. They were returning to Mumbai after dropping their daughter who studies in Satara district.
The deceased persons have been identified as Yashwant Pandurang Mane (56), Sharada Yashwant Mane (46), Hrishikesh Yashwant Mane (20), and Krishna Surve (71). Hrishikesh was driving the car.
The accident took place around 4 am near Daripul in Jambhulwadi.
