Sports Mania begin on winning note; Ride on Shaurya brace, win home AIFF Sub-Junior opener
Pune, 4th March 2025: Sports Mania began their campaign on a bright note in the AIFF Sub Junior League 2024-25, at the Sports Mania Turf on Monday.
In their opening encounter they got the better of Reliance Foundation Young Champs 4-0 in their opening home encounter.
Opening the day through a goal by Shaurya Rohan Mohol (9′) and later Kartik Joshi (37′), Sports Mania opened up 2-0 lead at half time.
Changing ends, Sports Mania went on to add two more goals when Shaurya Rohan Mohol (45′) and R Karthikeya (53′) added to the scoreline and completed the tally.
Sports Mania next play D’souza Football Academy on 6th March in a home
encounter.
Meanwhile, Sports Mania are drawn in Group B along with other Mumbai teams which include Mumbai City FC, Maharashtra Oranje FC, D’souza Football Academy, Reliance Foundation Young Champs, SSE BFC Soccer Schools. Each team will engage in a home and away match basis.
