Pune, 23rd June 2025: The Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has announced the return of its prestigious National Awards for Social Excellence, aimed at recognising the country’s most impactful NGOs and social changemakers. The 5th edition of the awards will be officially declared on August 15, 2025, with nominations open until July 20, 2025.

“These awards were born out of the incredible spirit shown by NGOs and individuals during the pandemic,” said Aamir Edresy, President of AMP. “We launched the AMP National Awards to honour those who work tirelessly—often silently—for the betterment of society and the nation.”

Launched in 2021, the awards have since become a benchmark in acknowledging contributions to community development, nation-building, and humanitarian service. Last year alone, over 1,200 NGOs applied, with 100 NGOs and 100 individuals ultimately receiving recognition.

🏆 Award Categories

The awards are presented at both national and state levels across five categories:

Education

Employment & Livelihoods Assistance

Humanitarian Assistance

Minority & Human Rights Issues

Others

AMP will also be recognising emerging NGOs (less than 3 years old) this year for their promising efforts in grassroots impact, shared Mirza Mobin Beg, Head of AMP NGO Connect.
