Pune: District Collector Urges Citizens to Register Accurate Mobile Numbers on Aaple Sarkar Portal
Pune, 24th June 2025: District Collector Jitendra Dudi has appealed to all citizens availing services through Setu Kendras, Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendras, and Gram Panchayat Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendras to ensure that they register their accurate mobile numbers while filling out applications on the Aaple Sarkar portal.
A wide range of Right to Services (RTS) facilities are being delivered to citizens across the district via these centres. Collector Dudi emphasized that a correct mobile number enables applicants to receive real-time SMS updates regarding their application status — whether approved, rejected, or returned. This helps enhance transparency in service delivery and reduces the need for citizens to revisit government offices or reapply.
Applicants must carefully fill out the ‘Application Details’ section and ensure that their mobile number is correctly entered. The Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendras and supervising agencies are required to follow the protocols laid down by the Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation Limited (MITC).
The Collector’s office reiterated that strict adherence to guidelines is essential for improving the efficiency and reliability of citizen services across the district.
