Pune: Water Supply To Be Disrupted In Ambegaon And Dhankawadi On June 26; PMC Urges Citizens To Cooperate
Pune, 24th June 2025: Water supply in parts of Ambegaon Phata and Dhankawadi will be shut off on Thursday (26th June), due to urgent structural maintenance work. According to the information given by the Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Water Supply Department, the supply is expected to resume late on Friday (27th June), but may be delayed and at low pressure.
Nandkishore Jagtap, Head of the Water Supply Department, has appealed to residents to cooperate and make necessary arrangements in advance.
The areas that will be affected include Nilgiri Chowk, from Chintamani Dnyanpeeth to Trimurti Chowk, Bharati Vidyapeeth area, Survey Nos. 15 to 30 in Ambegaon Phata, Survey Nos. 28, 29, 30, 36 to 37 in Dhankawadi, as well as Chaitanyanagar, Ashraynagar, Rajmudra Society, Rinkuta Society, Vidnyannagari, and Mohannagar.
The administration has advised residents to store sufficient water in advance to avoid inconvenience during the disruption.
