Shivraj Sable is new President of Software Exporters Association of Pune
Pune, 28th June 2025: Shivraj Sable, a Pune-based software engineer, has been elected as the President of the Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP). The appointment was announced at the association’s recent Annual General Meeting. Shivraj Sable is currently the Country Head of Globant India Private Limited, where he is responsible for driving ground-up digital transformation programs focused on leading-edge technologies as well as transformative digital journeys with a major focus on scaling up Asia Pacific operations.
Shivraj has been actively involved with SEAP for several years and recently completed his term as Vice President, focusing on technology initiatives. Alongside Shivraj, the newly formed SEAP executive committee includes Shivesh Vishwanathan as Vice President, Vidyadhar Purandare as Secretary, and Anand Ranade as Treasurer, all serving a two-year term from 2025 to 2027.
The executive committee also comprises Vinita Gera, Ashwin Megha, Abhijit Atre, Pranali Save, Manjiri Shinde, Bhalachandra Namjoshi, Vishwas Mahajan, Dhanashree Bhat, Amod Deshpande, and Sneha Utturwar. Nitin Deshpande, Ramprasad S, Ashutosh Parasnis, and Prashant KS will serve as advisors to the executive committee.
Shivraj Sable completed his schooling and college education at St. Vincent’s High School in Pune and holds a degree and a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering. He has played various roles in development, delivery, and capacity.
SEAP was established in 1998 as an association of software exporters in Pune, with the primary objective of engaging with government institutions and providing support to member software companies. The association has over 125 member institutions from the IT sector in Pune and has been working to promote and organize the software industry in the city for several years. SEAP primarily focuses on five key areas: leadership, technology, go-to-market operational excellence, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).
