Pune: Water Supply Disruption in Chandni Chowk, Bavdhan, Baner Areas on July 1
Chandani Chowk, 30th June 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced an emergency water shutdown for multiple areas in the city due to a major leakage in the main water supply pipeline from the Warje Water Purification Centre to the Chandni Chowk tank.
According to PMC officials, urgent repair work is currently underway, and as a result, water supply to the Chandni Chowk zone and surrounding localities will remain suspended on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Water supply is expected to resume later in the morning, but with low pressure.
Citizens residing in the affected areas are requested to take note of the disruption and cooperate with the civic administration.
