Cybersecurity is becoming more and more important with each passing day, and hence, everyone needs to pay close attention to it. More focus is required on keeping our data safe. Cyber thieves may steal information and use it for other purposes. In recent times, incidents such as ransomware attacks, data extortion, business email compromise, and fraud through the use of AI technology have been occurring. Cyber fraud worth approximately ₹7,000 crore has occurred in Maharashtra so far, so everyone must take more precautions”, said Katkar.

He further stated, “The use of AI technology is increasing. In the coming time, its use in cybersecurity can also be implemented, which may help in simplifying work. Along with software companies, people working in various sectors need to keep their software systems regularly updated, use strong passwords, provide cybersecurity training to employees, and share more knowledge about security to enhance awareness—all of which are necessary efforts.

Katkar also unfolded his journey from school education to the company’s success. He recalled experiments done after starting the company, the experiences faced, the support received from home for education, and help from his parents and brother. He also fondly remembered his time living in a chawl in Wakadewadi.

Artificial Intelligence technology will transform the face of Pune over the next ten years, and this will lead to great job opportunities here, said newly elected President of SEAP, Shivraj Sable.

Technological changes are happening, and there are opportunities for new experiments by taking advantage of them. Bringing together different sections of society, creating a platform for them, becoming the voice of Pune, planning for the future, and implementing new initiatives—these are the activities SEAP plans to carry out in the coming time, said Sable.
