114 Youth Receive Appointment Letters in Pune as PM Distributes 51,000 Under Rozgar Mela

Pune, 12th July 2025: A total of 114 newly recruited candidates in Pune received appointment letters under the Government of India’s Rozgar Mela initiative on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as part of a nationwide distribution of over 51,000 appointment letters by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing.
The event in Pune was held at IRICEN Auditorium, Koregaon Park, where Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol distributed the letters to selected candidates. Simultaneously, 183 recruits received appointment letters in Mumbai, taking the total for Mumbai Division and Pune Division of Central Railway to 297.
The Rozgar Mela, now in its 16th edition, was conducted across 47 locations in India, with recruitments taking place across various Central Government ministries and departments, including Railways, Home Affairs, Posts, Health & Family Welfare, Financial Services, Labour & Employment, among others.
In Mumbai, the distribution was held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Auditorium, where appointment letters were handed over to 183 candidates. The department-wise distribution of candidates in Mumbai included:
Central Railway – 119
Western Railway – 19
Department of Science & Technology – 1
CISF (Ministry of Home Affairs) – 9
Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) – 1
Department of Posts – 1
Department of Financial Services (PNB) – 22
BPCL (Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas) – 4
AIIPMR – 7
The Prime Minister also addressed all new appointees during the virtual ceremony. Over 10 lakh appointment letters have been issued across India through Rozgar Melas so far.
