Global Walkathon in Pune to Raise Funds for Pediatric Heart Surgeries

Pune, 23rd July 2025: A unique community wellness initiative — the Global Walkathon: Walk for Peace, Freedom & Healing Hearts — is set to take place on Saturday, July 26, at the Sadhu Vaswani Institute of Management Studies, Koregaon Road, Pune. Scheduled from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, the event aims to blend fitness, positivity, and social impact.

Participants will embark on a 3-kilometre guided walk, complemented by interactive activities, a free event T-shirt, and a wholesome complimentary breakfast. The walk is open to all age groups, underlining the theme: “Forgiveness has no age limit.”

The cause behind the event is deeply meaningful — proceeds from the ₹250 registration fee will go toward free pediatric heart surgeries at the Fabiani & Budhrani Heart Hospital. By walking for peace and freedom, participants will also be supporting life-saving medical treatment for children in need.
