Kaafila at Monalisa Kalagram: Poetry and Storytelling by KavitaKAFE
Pune, 23rd July 2025: The art of poetry and storytelling has long connected hearts, preserved memories, and inspired change, creating spaces where words become a bridge between individuals and communities.
In this spirit, KavitaKAFE will host Kaafila, an evening of poetry and storytelling, on 27th July 2025 at Monalisa Kalagram, Pune. The event aims to bring together diverse voices, offering audiences heartfelt stories and verses that reflect everyday lives, aspirations, and inner journeys.
The lineup features artists like Surbhi Jain, Rashmi Kankaria, Keshava Shukla, Vijeta, Devv Singh, Devanshi Patel, Vishal Gawande, Tushar Gadekar, Zeeshan Khan, Chetna Chaitguru, Sachin Sharma, Gayatri, Manas Nikhil, and Anupam Banerjee, each bringing their unique narratives and poetic expressions to the stage.
The event will be hosted by Garima Mishra, former journalist, poet and founder of KavitaKAFE, who has been instrumental in building a warm and accessible poetry community in the city.
Monalisa Kalagram, known for its commitment to promoting all art forms, continues to serve as a vibrant space for creative expression and cultural gatherings in Pune, making it a fitting venue for Kaafila.
Over the past months, KavitaKAFE has successfully organized initiatives to encourage budding poets and storytellers. Through its Healing Verses initiative, the group has brought poetry and stories to old age homes, cancer care centres, and other spaces, using words and music as gentle tools for healing and connection.
