HSC Supplementary Result Sees Notable Improvement; SSC Pass Percentage Slightly Drops

Pune, 29th July 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the results of the 2025 supplementary examinations for Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC), revealing a mixed trend—an encouraging rise in the HSC pass percentage and a slight decline in SSC performance.

According to State Board Secretary Devidas Kulal, the overall pass percentage for the HSC supplementary exam stood at 43.65%, marking a significant 11.19% improvement from last year’s 32.46%. On the other hand, SSC results recorded a pass rate of 36.48%, witnessing a marginal dip of 0.30% compared to 36.78% in 2024.

HSC Supplementary Exam 2025: Stream-Wise Performance
Out of 74,130 registered candidates, 72,254 students appeared for the HSC supplementary exams, and 31,676 successfully passed.

Arts: 10,093 passed (Pass %: 36.17%)
Science: 17,628 passed (Pass %: 64.78%)
Commerce: 3,124 passed (Pass %: 20.74%)
ITI: 79 passed (Pass %: 34.64%)
