Delivery Turns Violent: Blinkit Executive, 6 Men Attack Security Guard at Housing Society in Pune
Mohammadwadi, 7th August 2025: Tension gripped the upscale Ganga Florentina Housing Society in Mohammadwadi on Thursday night after a Blinkit delivery executive allegedly assaulted a security guard following a dispute over parking.
The incident occurred around 8:30 PM when the delivery executive arrived at the society for a delivery. According to eyewitnesses, an argument broke out between him and the guard regarding parking norms inside the premises. The situation quickly escalated.
Shortly after the verbal altercation, the delivery executive reportedly made a phone call. Within minutes, six unidentified men arrived and allegedly attacked the security guard, triggering panic among residents and bystanders.
A member of the society’s managing committee said, “Such violent behavior is completely unacceptable. We are fully cooperating with police to ensure strict action is taken.”
Police have launched an investigation and are working to identify the attackers. Further details are awaited.
