Project Details
According to PMRDA officials, the double-decker flyover project at Savitribai Phule Pune University Chowk was designed to provide a long-term solution to severe traffic bottlenecks in the area. The project, with an estimated budget of ₹277 crore, will also improve connectivity between Aundh, Shivajinagar, Baner, and Pashan.

Currently, one lane of the flyover connecting Aundh to Shivajinagar has been opened for public use. The ramps on the Shivajinagar and Aundh sides have been completed, while the remaining ramps on the Baner and Pashan sides are expected to be completed by October 2025.
