Maddock Films Partners with Prime Video, 5 Upcoming Films to Stream Online
Pune, 22nd August 2025: Prime Video has announced a major collaboration with Maddock Films, entering into a multi-year licensing deal that will see eight of Maddock’s upcoming films release exclusively on the streaming platform. The agreement, covering films set to release between 2025 and 2027, includes Ayushmann Khurrana’s Thama and Janhvi Kapoor–Sidharth Malhotra’s Param Sundari.
Prime Video Becomes Home for Maddock’s Horror-Comedy Universe
Under the deal, Prime Video will serve as the global streaming platform for Maddock Films’ popular horror-comedy universe. Some films, such as Stree 2, which had already premiered on the platform, are also part of this collaboration. In addition, the lineup features Thama starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, along with two other yet-to-be-announced titles. These films will be available to Prime members in over 240 countries and territories immediately following their theatrical release.
Beyond Horror: Other Maddock Titles Included
The agreement is not limited to horror-comedy films. Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari, releasing in cinemas on August 29, is included, along with Shiddat 2, Badlapur 2, and Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda. Maddock Films is expected to announce additional titles in the coming months.
Strengthening a Long-Standing Partnership
This collaboration reinforces the long-standing relationship between Prime Video and Maddock Films, which previously brought titles like Stree, Stree 2, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Bhul Chuk Maaf, and Jee Karda to the streaming platform.
