Yerawada, 10th October 2025: At just 10 years old, Ayanna Mukherjee, a Grade 5 student at Vibgyor High, Pune, has published her third book, titled “The Lost Buzz.” Inspired by a visit to the Bee Research Institute of Pune, the story highlights the crucial role of bees, pollination, and greenery in maintaining the delicate balance of nature.
Through her imaginative narrative, Ayanna explores a world without bees and plants, offering a vivid reminder of how much our future depends on these tiny but vital creatures.
Her mother, Suparna Mukherjee, expressed her pride, saying, “Ayanna has always been deeply curious about nature and the environment. Her visit to the Bee Research Institute left a lasting impression on her. Through ‘The Lost Buzz,’ she hopes to remind everyone that every little creature plays a big role in our world.”
This is not Ayanna’s first literary achievement. Her second book earned her the National Bestselling Author Award at a ceremony held in Gurgaon in March 2025, where Union Minister Smriti Irani was the chief guest.
Ayanna’s latest book, “The Lost Buzz,” is available on BriBooks.
