Pune, 20th October 2025: Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol on Sunday addressed allegations surrounding the redevelopment of the Jain Boarding Hostel in Model Colony, asserting that he has no connection with the project.

Speaking to the media in Pune, Mohol clarified, “This transaction took place 11 months after I left these partnership institutions. Therefore, I have nothing to do with this transaction. If former MP Raju Shetty verifies the facts, the truth will come out.”

Mohol said that such allegations undermine the morale of workers in socio-political fields and can damage careers. “As an MP of Pune, I felt it necessary to present the truth about the allegations against me. The purchase deed of Jain Boarding was done by Gokhale Builders, and I have no connection with them. After becoming a minister at the Centre, I cannot enter into a partnership. Accordingly, I resigned on November 25, 2024. The trust then decided to redevelop in December 2024, and an agreement was signed with Gokhale Builders in October 2025. How do I have any connection with this?” he questioned.

Mohol added that he maintains a good relationship with the Jain brothers trust, saying, “They trust me. I always try to understand their feelings and help them.”

Responding to Raju Shetty’s allegations, he said, “They were given wrong information. They made allegations without checking. Punekars and Kolhapurkars know the difference between real wrestling and Noora (fixed) wrestling very well. Shetty seems to be a Noora wrestling player.”

Indirectly addressing former MLA Ravindra Dhangekar, Mohol stated, “After Shetty’s allegations, some frustrated people are making allegations. There was similar criticism during elections, but I remained silent then, and I will not speak now.”
