Pune: Free SSB Pre-Selection Training to Be Held in Nashik; Pune Candidates Asked to Report by December 11
Pune, 19th November 2025: In a major boost for youth preparing to join the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force as officers, a free pre-selection training programme for the Services Selection Board (SSB) examination will be conducted at Nashik Road from December 15 to 24, 2025. The intensive course will offer coaching, accommodation and meals at no cost to participating candidates.
The District Sainik Welfare Office, Pune, has notified that candidates from Pune district interested in enrolling must appear for an interview at the office on or before December 11, 2025. Applicants have been instructed to download the admission card and annexures from the designated portal, complete the forms in advance and carry three copies of each document during reporting.

The initiative was formally announced by Lt Col (Retd) S.D. Hange, District Sainik Welfare Officer, who urged eligible aspirants to make use of the fully sponsored preparatory programme.
