Undri, 29th November 2025: Bramha Skyone Co-operative Housing Society in Undri has taken a major step toward sustainable living by installing a 28 kW solar power plant on its premises. The system was inaugurated on Saturday by chief guest Sachin Ghule, in the presence of society residents and office-bearers.

The initiative has been led by Society Chairman Abrar Shaha, Secretary Mohammed Sohel, Treasurer Usman Shaikh and the management committee, aiming to cut down on power expenses while reducing the carbon footprint.

Addressing the gathering, Ghule appreciated the community’s proactive shift toward renewable energy and said such neighbourhood-based initiatives are crucial for long-term environmental resilience. He also spoke about plans for further infrastructure improvements that would benefit residents of Bramha Skyone and neighbouring localities in Undri.

Chairman Shaha thanked the residents and committee members for supporting the project. He said the system is expected to generate around 36,000 kWh of clean energy every year. “This 29 kW plant is a humble yet meaningful step toward renewable energy. Beyond cost savings, what matters most is the positive environmental change we collectively contribute to,” he noted.
