“Education–Industry Integration Key to Reviving Humanity,” Says Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav at State-Level Conclave
Pune, 2nd December 2025: “Humanity is gradually declining… Only through a harmonious integration of education and industry can we achieve genuine economic growth and advance humanity,” said Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav, Director, Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension, Savitribai Phule Pune University.
He shared these insights during his keynote address at the State-Level Conclave titled “Education–Industry–Economy: A Bridge for Collaborative Progress,” organized by the Foundation for Education and Community Welfare, Maharashtra.
The conclave, held at Laxaki Hall, Maratha Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture (MCCIA), Pune, also featured the Gaurav Samman Awards 2025. The event drew eminent personalities from education, industry, healthcare, social work, and allied sectors, alongside awardees recognized for their outstanding contributions across Maharashtra.
Focusing on a Human-Centric Approach
Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav emphasized the interconnection between education, industry, and economy, stressing the need to nurture humanity, ethics, value-based actions, and collective development. He urged institutions to adopt a more responsible, collaborative, and human-centric approach to ensure sustainable growth and societal well-being.
The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Ramdas Marne (National Youth Awardee & President, Greenguard Foundation), Adv. Mukund Sonawane (Notary & Secretary, Minority Educational Institutions Development Association), Dr. Tabbasum Arif Pansare (Head, Department of Dravyaguna, Government Ayurveda College, Baramati), and Dr. Meena Gaikwad (renowned social worker).
Their presence added depth and leadership perspective to the conclave.
Prof. Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Principal of Choice College, Pune, delivered the welcome address, felicitating the dignitaries and highlighting the mission, objectives, and relevance of the conclave in today’s societal and economic context.

Prof. Arman Shaikh and Padmakar Nivrutti Dhende coordinated event planning, ensuring seamless execution, while Mangesh Aallhat delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to dignitaries, participants, organizers, and volunteers.
