Pune, 5th December 2025: Flight operations at Pune Airport are progressively returning to normal, with disruptions now limited to IndiGo services, officials said on Thursday. Other airlines operated as per schedule throughout the day.

“Airport operations have been stable since midnight. All functions have been running smoothly without interruption and the disruptions are now confined solely to IndiGo,” said Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke. “All other airlines adhered fully to their planned schedules.”

According to the data shared by the airport for the period between 0000 hrs and 1700 hrs on December 5, a total of 31 arrival flights and 31 departure flights were handled, facilitating 5,122 arriving passengers and 4,805 departing passengers.

Scheduled operations by Air India (4/4), SpiceJet (3/3), AIX (9/9), Akasa Air (4/4), Star Air (2/2), and Fly91 (2/2) were completed as planned, Dhoke said. IndiGo operated seven arrivals and seven departures but cancelled 21 arrivals and 21 departures.

Dhoke noted that airport staff, airlines, ground-handling agencies, terminal managers, and security personnel are fully deployed to ensure seamless passenger movement and timely aircraft turnaround. He added that apron utilisation is being closely monitored to prevent any cascading impact on operations.

“We continue to coordinate closely with all stakeholders to maintain service standards and support IndiGo in stabilising its schedule,” Dhoke said. “Our focus remains on ensuring smooth operations as normalcy is progressively restored.”
